200mm from the outside face of the veranda's gutter and the fence, which means that the veranda column will be 360mm off the fence. 

If there is a pre existing timber deck under the area we need to build the structure then regardless of how far away the timber decking is to the fence our structure needs to be designed 1m away from the boundary.
