When you are at a home you will likely not know where the easement is so the best thing to do is just design what the client wants to achieve and bring the job in and let the Install a Veranda building permit team manage the process as part of the normal building permit process.

Sometimes you can build over an easement if there are no council or water authority assets/pipes in the easement. If there are assets in there they may require us to redesing the veranda so the columns are off the easement and if that is required the Install a Veranda will manage that process for you.
